Orange County Social Services Agency, Children and Family Services
Protects children from abuse and neglect and provides assistance to at-risk families. Currently, there are over 2,700 children in the Orange County foster care system. The children range in age from newborn to 21 and include sibling sets and children with on-going medical needs. More than half of the children served are living with relatives and many of these families are struggling to make ends meet. These families have needs such as food, clothing, shoes, personal hygiene products, luggage, and school supplies. Top of Page
Shoes for Orphan Souls, the largest humanitarian aid project of Buckner International, provides new shoes and socks to orphans and vulnerable children in the United States and throughout the world. Since 1999, more than 2.5 million pairs of new shoes and socks have been distributed to children in 74 countries. Our mission at Shoes for Orphan Souls is to provide new shoes to the world’s 143 million orphans; to the vulnerable children living in families earning less than $1 a day; to the working poor in the United States who need shoes to send their children to school; and to the needy among us. A pro-life giving ministry whose mission and mandate is to uphold the sanctity of human life and endeavoring to meet the physical, spiritual and emotional needs to the HIV/AIDS orphans and widows facing welfare problems. We are a fully registered Not for Profit Organization and derive our support from the invaluable services of volunteers and other Christian resources helping us to get to horizons and societies that cannot be easily reached by the average human. Faces of Slavery
FACESS (Freeing American Children from Exploitation and Sexual Slavery) is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to the care of young girls who have been rescued from sex trafficking and slavery here in the United States. At FACESS, our desire is to restore to these children the life and childhood that was stolen from them by providing relationships, mentorship, family-style outings and activities.

Africa New Day
Africa New Day uses a Christ-centered holistic approach to train current and potential leaders in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Their children’s ministry, Generation Hope, sends kids to school and provides emotional, intellectual and spiritual support. They also reach out to abandoned street children, providing psychosocial care, literacy training, and a reinsertion process that will allow these abandoned children to experience the affection of a caring family.
